Este lunes se dieron a conocer las nominaciones para la 92ª ceremonia de los premios Oscar, presentada por la Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas de los Estados Unidos. Joker es la película que obtuvo más candidaturas en las diferentes categorías acumulando un total de 11.

En la carrera por el galardón de Mejor Película aparecen: Ford v Ferrari, The Irishman (El Irlandés), Jojo Rabbit, Joker (Guasón), Little Women (Mujercitas), Marriage Story (Historia de un matrimonio), 1917, Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood (Había una vez en Hollywood) y Parasite (Parásitos).
Joker, de Todd Phillips, figura como la más nominada con 11 postulaciones, seguida por Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood, The Irishman y 1917 con 10 nominaciones cada una.
En la categoría de Mejor Director los nominados son Martin Scorsese (The Irishman), Todd Phillips (Joker), Sam Mendes (1917), Quentin Tarantino (Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood) y el surcoreano Bong Joon Ho (Parasite).
