Porque la Ciudad volvió a vestirse del espíritu festivo que caracteriza al tradicional evento de la Vía Blanca. Desfile en el que carros alegóricos, delegaciones y las reinas departamentales y soberanas invitadas recorren las calles frente a miles de mendocinos y turistas.
Si bien el Carrusel tendrá cambios en su recorrido, la Vía Blanca mantuvo el mismo circuito. Arrancó en calles San Martín y Colón de Ciudad, transitando la arteria principal de la ciudad hasta Av. Las Heras. De allí en dirección Oeste hasta calle Chile y allí, con dirección Sur, hasta Av. Sarmiento, donde se producirá la desconcentración. En total, fueron 43 los carros que desfilaron, entre departamentales e instituciones, con un tiempo aproximado de una hora y media.
La celebración contó con la presencia del gobernador, Francisco Pérez, quien llegó acompañado de su esposa, Celina Sánchez, funcionarios públicos y mandatarios de otras provincia como Salta, Juan Manuel Urtubey y de Entre Ríos, Sergio Uribarri y el Embajador de Chile Gines Gonzalez García.
